A native Californian, Patrick Barreto is a photographer specializing in interiors, people and locations. He’s been based in the greater New York City area for the last 15+ years.
 
A lifelong passion for photography brought Patrick to Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, where he majored in Photographic Illustration. He worked in New York City for ten years—first paying his dues as an assistant, and later going out on his own as a still-life photographer. He was mentored by some of the best; not only did he learn to hone his technical skills during this time, but he learned how to collaborate with exacting clients. He learned to be efficient and creative at the same time, taking his work to the next level.
 
With a natural eye for composition and understanding of lighting, he can turn the ordinary into much, much more. And by taking the time to really listen to his clients’ needs he’s able to exceed their expectations, but not their budget.
